Aloha from Maui, where Emily Perreira-Martins and Joao Correia Nunes, who immigrated separately from the island of Madeira in the late 1800's, met, married, raised a family, and left a rich legacy that their proud descendants continue to celebrate today.
Family members and friends are invited to participate in developing this online tribute to the Nunes-Martins family. (Remember that this is a totally public forum.)
Plans are under way for a family reunion on the island of Oahu, in September, 2009. More information about the reunion will be available on this site soon.
